Dr Disrespect and TimTheTatman played some Fortnite together in a recent stream to celebrate the long-awaited return of Tilted Towers. Both spoke highly of the current state of the battle royale.
Fortnite has undergone a lot of changes in recent weeks, adding Spider-Man gloves and other new features. However, what has gotten many players hooked back on the game is the return of Tilted Towers.
For many, these changes have brought back a lot of what players loved about the original Fortnite days, having just enough wackiness to keep games interesting.
Dr Disrespect called the state of the game “fantastic” in a recent stream, claiming he’ll be playing for the next few weeks with his good friend TimTheTatman.
Dr Disrespect lauds Fortnite changes
In a stream welcoming back the fabled Tilted Towers, TimTheTatman, CourageJD, and Dr Disrespect all teamed up to play some legendary trios matches.
After notching a couple of wins under their belt and giving each other just enough of a hard time, it appeared clear that they were all enjoying the game more than each had in a while.
In a dull moment in one game, Tim asked Doc what his “general thoughts and feelings were on Fortnite in its current state.”
Doc responded in praise of the game, saying, “It’s fantastic. I’ll be playing it all week and probably for the next couple of months.”
It’s often hard to tell if Doc and Tim are being serious in moments like these or are trying to be tongue and cheek. That being said, this did seem like something Doc really meant when he said it.
Each talked at length about how servers felt laggy during gameplay, potentially due to more players than usual being on the server thanks to the update.
Time will tell how this all ages and for how long the popular streamers continue to play the classic BR. But, if this is any indicator, Fortnite may be making a bit of a comeback in 2022.
